Gahanna leaders say city’s financial picture is looking up

Increased revenue over expenditures in this year’s second quarter might indicate the city of Gahanna is weathering the economic downturn well, says the city’s director of finance. 
 
Angel Mumma presented the numbers for the city’s second financial quarter at a meeting of Gahanna City Council committees, held Aug. 8 at City Hall. 
 
She said the city of Gahanna ended the second quarter with a total unencumbered balance of $12,072,113.
